THE CASCO SCHOOL
WELCOME AGAIN!
A WELCOME MESSAGE
FROM OUR DIRECTOR
It is my privilege to have founded and act as director of The Casco School, an educational institution that was established to provide high-quality education to the neighborhood of Casco Antiguo and beyond. Today, I am proud to say that we have grown at a fantastic pace and we now have three sites across Panama City and nearly 400 students. We offer a bilingual education following the English national curriculum in conjunction with the MEDUCA program, equally celebrating both languages and their cultures. It is important to recognise that each child is unique and our aim is to adapt to their needs. We have designed an unparalleled standard of personalised education with opportunities for students to explore their creative side and to learn from the very best international teachers in small groups. By developing a bilingual curriculum with the highest quality of teaching and learning, the school has grown together with our families who all seek an education with a difference for their children. We aim to inspire our students to learn, explore and soar. Helping them become confident, creative and upstanding global citizens who face challenges with determination and intelligence. We work united by one drive: we are ambitious for our students, our people and our communities.

OUR CORE VALUES
THE MEANINGFUL THINGS
IN OUR SCHOOL...
Mission Statement
– To be a boutique, bilingual British school, fostering ambitious, confident and resilient global citizens with a lifelong love of learning. –
Philosophy
We are Lifelong Learners
We use a bilingual British curriculum as our framework to inspire a learning journey tailored to your child’s individual needs and interests. Our holistic approach applies to an international context, helping your child connect their learning locally and globally. Developing global citizenship and instilling a passion for learning is at the centre of everything we do.
We Create & Innovate
Our partnership with the El Lunario Cultural Center allows your child to discover and master artistic expression through music, art and movement. The creative curriculum of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths (STEAM) encourages your child to explore their curiosity and creativity, enabling them to investigate and shape the world around them.
We Nurture
Working hand in hand with parents, we create a safe, kind and nurturing environment in which your child feels like they are learning within an extension of the home.
We are a Community
Our community-based schools bring together the whole neighborhood. Through partnerships, cultural events and educational support, we inspire child-led change and innovation within the local community and beyond.
OUR HISTORY
A BRIEF HISTORY OF US

Our beginnings!… The Casco School in Ave B
The Casco School opened its doors in 2018 in a classical building in the heart of the old town, known as «Casco Antiguo», a neighbourhood that exudes the charm of Panama City’s colonial architecture. It was a «Early years», pre nursery establishment, which quickly grew to include Primary School. During the pandemic, our tech savvy and efficient online project allowed the School to expand at a surprisingly fast pace and it was online that the Secondary School segment of Casco School started. In 2020 we moved to our present site in the Old Town, a XIX century two-story building with long wooden corridors under a striking glass roof that houses 150 students and 10 classrooms.
To cope with demand, two more sites were opened in 2022: one in Albrook and another one in Costa de Este. In Albrook, we also host our Secondary School. Today we have nearly 400 students and fifty highly qualified teachers, most of them British expats, and three beautiful locations with ample playgrounds and sports fields.
