WE CREATE AND INNOVATE
SPORTS
As part of the health and education of every pupil, physical education is a core component of school life and pupils learn the importance of staying fit and active. Each class has 2 sports sessions per week with our coaches. Our early years sports program focuses on the development of fine and gross motor skills, key lessons of nutrition and learning about the body. Using small team games, yoga, gymnastics and lots of fun the children develop understanding and control of their bodies.
Music
We move to the rhythm in our music classes led by the talented Alfrado Hidrvoe from El Lunario. Alfredo studied at the Berklee college of music and is known in Panama for La Luna Tambores. During our music classes students study piano and keyboard, ukulele, percussions, how to read, play and perform as well as music appreciation from across a wide range of genres.
ARTS
We study a range of arts and media from a young age. Each week students have 2 art classes with our team of specialist art teachers. They study painting, sketching, modeling, textiles and fashion, digital media and art theory. Throughout the key stages students learn about a range of famous artists and styles of art to develop both a classic and modern understanding.
