In our preschool classes take place in whole class groups, small groups and individually. During the week children have whole group and individual reading times. Depending on the lesson and activity, children may be working with the teacher in a small group for a portion of the session, they may be working independently in a play based area or may be working on a craft activity with a teaching assistant.
